SPREADING THE USAGE OF BROADBAND INTERNET, the Foundation accepted the task of popularization of the above mentioned direction and has treated it as a priority since 2005. The Foundation has commited itself to information society and info-communication since its establishment. The studies and works of the establishers are in close connection with the Hungarian history of the Internet, all the curators of the Foundation worked for Internet developing firms and for market leader ISPs, so nowadays as well they are holding close contact with the management of the major ISPs, with the National Communications Authority and with the Ministry of Economy and Transport, and moreover with professional and scientific organizations, all dealing with Internet.

The main purpose of http://www.szelessavkereso.hu/  is to present the broadband providers' offers and geographical coverage for all EU member countries, with the following details:
- Residence/Premise located database
- Public Internet Access Points
- Internet Cafe Database
- Public or Paying Hotspot Access Points
At present the database is complete for Hungary, but we welcome all future participants for being present on the site-database for any of the above mentioned category at .
